Merry Christmas (Late!) & Happy New Year (Early!)

Really sorry I've not been on for ages - one of my new years resolutions is to try and post at least once a week & also include something I've made each week.

Unfortunately, everyone in our family has been struck down by the dreaded Christmas Cold at some point over the festive season, and I managed to turn myself into a human lobster when I developed an allergy to washing powder (very scary sight!). Husband is still sneezing, and I've now gone flakey - whole body dandruff!

Anyway, now I've put you off your Sunday tea, I'll sign off for the moment, but hopefully you will be hearing more from me during 2008 & possibly seeing less of me. Other new year resolution is to try and drop at least two dress sizes (won't tell you where I'm starting from!).

Just a quickie

Hi all, just to let you know want I've been up to.

I had a few days off work this week & managed to get all of the Christmas present shopping done (except the hubby - but don't tell him!!), only the food shopping left to do.

I've started moving outside of card making - although I have loads of Christmas cards to do, but I'm quite enjoying making gift boxes, presents and calendars - including this countdown to Christmas...

I told you I wasn't very good at this, it's taking me so long to change things and make them better that I'll be lucky if you get one post a month.

I have added a list of other blogs - which are far superior to mine, so if I bore you, at least you can go off and have a look at theirs!.

Hi all

Well, this is my first blog attempt, so be gentle with me! I never kept a diary beyond January 2nd as a child so this may well fall flat on it's face, but I'll give it a go.

At the moment, I am working on some Christmas cards that have been ordered by a girl (sorry, woman) I work with. I'm also trying to come up with a wedding card for my friend Alex, who is going to a wedding in a couple of weeks. Then, there is the standard build up to Christmas and various family birthdays before then, so enough to keep me going for a while.

Rather than complete any of these tasks, I am on here setting up my first blog, ah well, we all need a break now and then - well that's my excuse anyway!

I promise to post my completed cards so you can all have a look & I also keep promising myself that I'll start scrapbooking one day - I may just have to cut out sleep to fit it all in!!!
